Each force can have their own page for officers to post jobs, volunteers can receive alerts letting them know when jobs are posted.
The details of the job are not included in the email and cannot be viewed in the portal until a volunteer “Claims” the job.
Volunteers will be organised via a secure online portal hosted in the UK’s hyper-secure Bunker data centre.
Volunteers can register to Help one or multiple forces and in return will get a badge for their Company website confirming it’s staff volunteer to help Police investigate cyber crime.

An Attack
Email Scam
A hacker has created an email scam targetting the parents of a local school.
The Investigation
Evidence Collected
As evidence is gathered, two items of technical data are found - the senders IP address and the URL in the email.
The Normal Response
Lengthy Process
Normally the threat would remain active and the investigation would stall for several weeks as the investigating officers request information from a central investigation team. Costing time and money.

Cyber Volunteer
A local cyber volunteer could return all the data required to shut down this threat and find the attacker, all publically available information within minutes. This can be achieved quickly and at no cost.
